Care Groups

Care Groups are the heart of Shinnecock Revival Center, out of which the Body of Christ here is nurtured, trained and leadership is raised up. Care Groups are usually comprised of 8 to 12 members each, who meet weekly in a host home. Each group has a leader, trainee leader, host, resource coordinator, prayer coordinator and administrator. It is where individual members are nurtured and cared for and neighborhoods are impacted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Once a month Care Group members gather to reach out and evangelize to the local neighborhoods.
Basically, Care Groups are about relationship. It is through healthy relationships that the Church will reach a higher level of maturity because strong relationships become a sanctuary where God can rest His glory.
Shinnecock Revival also offers Marriage Care Groups for couples that want to strengthen their marriages, Teen Care Group, Young Adults Care Group and more. If you would like to host or join a Care Group or, for more information, please contact Pastor Preston Brown at 631-987-9288.

Children’s Ministry

IMG_9121bThe purpose of Children’s Ministry is to strengthen the children’s relationships with God, their parents, other children, and their leaders. Sunday mornings for the children begins with an worship service with the entire congregation, and then the children are led by their own adult leader to their classroom. The group participates in different activities from Music & memory, games, arts & crafts and Bible Lessons- all of which center around the teaching of the day. In conclusion, the children share their weekly experiences with each other and write down their thoughts in their personal journals. This program provides versatility, movement, friendship, growth, and fun! Our experienced staff consists of ministry leaders of Shinnecock Revival Center who have long time experience working with children be it as school teachers or in Children’s Ministry. If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact Robin Perez at 631-806-9046 or June Martinez Coard at 413-884-5021 or email

Summer Feeding Program:  July 8 – August 26

Just as learning does not end when school lets out, neither does a child’s need for good nutrition. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides free, nutritious meals and snacks to help children get the nutrition they need to learn, play, and grow, throughout the summer months when they are out of school. Children 18 and younger may receive free meals and snacks through SFSP. Meals and snacks are also available to persons with disabilities, over age 18, who participate in school programs for people who are mentally or physically disabled. For questions, please contact the Program Director Kenneth Coard at 413-884-4362.

Prison Ministries

Prisoner Holding Cigarette Between BarsThe Shinnecock Revival Center’s Prison Ministries is committed to reach every inmate and his/her families/friends that would like to have an opportunity to know Jesus Christ and be saved.
Each week we write letters to the inmate to encourage them that God can turn their lives around. The inmates have an opportunity to make monthly calls to the pastor for a word and the ministry also provides food packages to any inmate in need.
We are blessed by God with a complete effective program. Relying on the Holy Spirit we will with the Grace of God meet the opposition with the “sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: (Ephesians 6:17)”. For God has given His promise to us in Proverbs 3:5, 6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” V 6 ” In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”. The success is not in us but in Him as He states in Psalms 37:5 “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass. These Bible promises have been given to us to achieve His success in working for Him. Phone calls are accepted on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7-9 pm at 631-880-7033.
